Hey gang!!!
So much has happened these past couple of weeks! Life is good! Here's a quickkyyy update:
- On Friday I turned 20 years old!! 🥳 So so crazy guau. I am no longer a teenager. My birthday was nothing short of amazing. I felt absolutely spoiled by the missionaries and members, ate so much good food, got to watch one of my favorite Disney movies, and ended the night riding bikes around Pamplona with my companion who was dressed up in a minion costume (long story)
I wanted to thank you for all of the birthday wishes. I felt SO LOVED by all of you guys even though I am so far away. Spending my birthday in spain as a servant of the lord is something that I will never forget!! ❤️🔥
- This weekend we also got transfer news! My companion and I are both staying here so that I can finish out her training. It will be so good, and I'm excited to work hard together these next couple of weeks!!
- I got absolutely COOKED last week. I was so sick and it had to be on a Sunday so I fought for my absolute life to go to church and stay for the baptism that was after. Surprised I made it honestly. I'm a lot better now!!
- Quad life has been so fun, and the district has been a literal party. I've never laughed more than I have this last transfer
- 2 beautiful souls got baptized last week!!! Let me tell you a story about German...
This is the Elders friend that was baptized. The NIGHT before his baptism, while he was hanging out with us at the church, the girl that he was living with packed all of her things, took all of his money, blocked him, and left. He called the Elders and basically canceled his baptism, he wasn't planning on showing up the next day.
As a missionary I have seen so many people who just get so beaten and bruised by the adversary right before making such a life-changing decision. Satan really will do anything he can to stop anyone from being baptized and it breaks my heart. But God is full of so much love, and will never fail to show his faithful children the blessings that await them. German fought the adversary and won! He showed up, got baptized, and is receiving countless blessings that will benefit him for the rest of his life. God is so good!
We have a couple other really amazing friends and I'm excited to work this transfer to find even more. The lord is preparing so many of his people!
Welllll I think that's it!! I hope you are all doing so amazing, Les quiero muchÃsimo!
