🌜

Hi guys!!! This week was SO good. There is soo much to update on so I'm just gonna share the highlights!!

- We put 2 new friends on date!
- Went on exchanges in Bilbao with Hermana Hardy! She is the happiest person ever and we saw so many miracles together
- Met the new district! 80% of us are either training or in training so our district is so young but it's been good! Our DL is german so I don't think we'll be playing much Secret Hitler this tranny hahaha
- At the most random times throughout the day Christiansen and I will tell people the most random fun facts about each other that aren't at all true. It is SO funny. Out of no where she will say "guys did you know that one time anselmo did a plank for 12 minutes and won a watermelon" and I'm just like "yeah guys it was crazy" and everyone believes us 😭 the things we do to entertain ourselves are crazy
- Here in Spain we teach people from EVERYWHERE. But by everywhere I mostly mean all of the countries in South and Central America, you know the countries with all of the latinos who speak spanish. But here in the north there is a good amount of people from Nigeria who speak English but with that really cool african accent. The funniest part about them is that it doesn't matter how long they've been living here, they do not speak spanish. But they are LIT, actual gold who straight up preach about how much they love God. So anyways... 3 of them showed up to church yesterday and couldn't understand any of the meeting. So I was tasked as translator. They were sitting all around me in the corner of the room with their screaming crying kids and I was exerting every last brain cell to focus myself and listen to what the teacher was saying in Spanish, so that I could say it out loud in English. It was sooo hard and I may have made some stuff up BUT they all left more spiritually nourished than they would've without me so I'd say that's a win 😌

OKAY here's the best part of the week!
Luna 🌜
We called Luna the day that we arrived here in Pamplona and set up a time to meet with her. Our first lesson with her she would nottt talk, she was SO shy. I'm not gonna lie at first we were like this chick is weird. But she kept wanting to meet so we did! Every lesson she talked more and more and I think she is the most intelligent person I have ever met. She read the book of mormon in one week and can basically quote it from memory, and she knows just about everything that there is to know about the church. We basically had her teaching us all of the lessons. So anyways, we put her on date for this last Saturday but at the beginning of this week we called her and said that there was no way that we were going to be able to teach her everything in time and that we were going to have to push her date back. She said no, I will meet every day this week in order to be baptized this Saturday. And so we did!! Despite her crazy work schedule, she made time for us every day and on Saturday she was baptized! We spent 2 hours filling mop buckets full of water and dumping them into the font because it didn't fill up all day but all is well that ends well and look how adorable she is!

We became SUCH good friends. She is one of my favorite people in this whole world. She is now so talkative with us and the members and always has so many good and inspiring comments to share. She is so sweet and pure and has the strongest testimony of the church. Every single lesson with her I could feel the spirit just radiating out of her and teaching her has been such a testament to me that the gospel really DOES change people!!! She even went up and bore her testimony in front of a lot of members! I am so proud of her and so lucky that I was able to see her progress this past transfer!!! She really is such a light! 🤍

Here's a scripture that I read this week that I love:
25 And it came to pass that Jesus blessed them as they did pray unto him; and his countenance did smile upon them, and the light of his countenance did shine upon them, and behold they were as white as the countenance and also the garments of Jesus; and behold the whiteness thereof did exceed all the whiteness, yea, even there could be nothing upon earth so white as the whiteness thereof.

The joy that we can feel through Jesus Christ and his light are endless and I have for sure felt that this week through teaching Luna! God is so good and I'm so happy to be doing his work. These past couple of weeks have been hard and testing but I have also been able to see God's hand in everything and he has blessed me in so many ways for all of our efforts!
I hope you are all doing so good and I want to hear from you so let me know what's up!
Les quiero muchísimo ❤️‍🔥

20 🥳

Hey gang!!!

So much has happened these past couple of weeks! Life is good! Here's a quickkyyy update:

- On Friday I turned 20 years old!! 🥳 So so crazy guau. I am no longer a teenager. My birthday was nothing short of amazing. I felt absolutely spoiled by the missionaries and members, ate so much good food, got to watch one of my favorite Disney movies, and ended the night riding bikes around Pamplona with my companion who was dressed up in a minion costume (long story)
I wanted to thank you for all of the birthday wishes. I felt SO LOVED by all of you guys even though I am so far away. Spending my birthday in spain as a servant of the lord is something that I will never forget!! ❤️‍🔥
- This weekend we also got transfer news! My companion and I are both staying here so that I can finish out her training. It will be so good, and I'm excited to work hard together these next couple of weeks!!
- I got absolutely COOKED last week. I was so sick and it had to be on a Sunday so I fought for my absolute life to go to church and stay for the baptism that was after. Surprised I made it honestly. I'm a lot better now!!
- Quad life has been so fun, and the district has been a literal party. I've never laughed more than I have this last transfer
- 2 beautiful souls got baptized last week!!! Let me tell you a story about German...
This is the Elders friend that was baptized. The NIGHT before his baptism, while he was hanging out with us at the church, the girl that he was living with packed all of her things, took all of his money, blocked him, and left. He called the Elders and basically canceled his baptism, he wasn't planning on showing up the next day.
As a missionary I have seen so many people who just get so beaten and bruised by the adversary right before making such a life-changing decision. Satan really will do anything he can to stop anyone from being baptized and it breaks my heart. But God is full of so much love, and will never fail to show his faithful children the blessings that await them. German fought the adversary and won! He showed up, got baptized, and is receiving countless blessings that will benefit him for the rest of his life. God is so good!
We have a couple other really amazing friends and I'm excited to work this transfer to find even more. The lord is preparing so many of his people!

Welllll I think that's it!! I hope you are all doing so amazing, Les quiero muchísimo!

The finale

Hi guys! How's it going?? The end is near!! I will be flying into Salt Lake City on December 10th, and my homecoming will be on December...
