Hola!!! Cómo han estado?

Working in 2 areas has made for a super busy past couple of weeks but I wouldn't want it any other way. I love my companions and I truly love the work!

Here are some updates/stories for you guys:

- We take ferry boats to member lessons! Sooo litttt!!!

- I gave a talk on Sunday. I get nervy giving talks in English and then put the talk in a different language and I thought it was over for me. But it went a lot better than I thought so God was good to me!

- We've been teaching this elect guy named Jan who has been progressing so fast. So this week we asked him to be baptized (as missionaries do). This is what he said... "But I was already baptized into this church with my mom and sister back in Colombia." The look on all 3 of our faces guys, we genuinely looked so lost. I said "Wait. So you've been taught by the missionaries before?" He was like "Yes. When I was 14." We were so confused. We we're like "Why didn't you tell us this at the beginning when we first started teaching you?" 😭 Long story short our bishop was able to find his member records in Colombia and we have now reactivated a less active member! (Well, a nonactive member) Not the outcome we were expecting but God works in mysterious ways every day and I guess our mission this time was to reactivate someone who didn't really know what it meant to be a member!

- 2 transfers ago my last companion, Hermana Charles and her last companion street contacted this lady and gave her a card but didn't get her number and the lady never texted them. Then like a month ago when I was with Hermana Charles, I street contacted the same lady with her husband and got their number but they've been so busy and haven't been able to meet with us. I was about to give up on them but we tried one more time to set something up and we were finally able to meet. We went over to their apartment and taught them and they were taking notes and asking questions and everything. The next day they showed up to church (in the pouring rain) with their 2 small kids and met all of the members and loved the classes. We were able to teach them after too and they are just so amazing and elect! Such a testament to me that God puts people who are ready into our paths!!!

We have so many awesome friends right now but I would be here all day if I told you guys about them all. I'm counting my blessings!! We are so happy to be doing the Lords work here in Vigo. There's little miracles in every day!!!
